Cannes Film Festival 2008 : Air France rolls out the Red Carpet at Paris-Orly Airport
Wednesday 21 May 2008 Since 8 May and until 25 May 2008, as part of its partnership with the Cannes Film Festival, Air France has introduced a new service in Paris-Orly Airport to meet the expectations of privileged festival guests.
These VIP customers invited to the Cannes Festival and travelling to Nice can go straight to the frequent traveller area in Hall 2 of the Orly West terminal.
A personalized service was specially initiated and set up by the Air France station: · As soon as they arrive, customers are welcomed by an Air France agent who will take them to check-in counters dedicated to this operation.
· They are checked in for the front cabin and their baggage is immediately taken care of.
· Passengers are then directly accompanied by the ground staff to the «le Patio» lounge in Hall 2.
The route is organized in such a way as to avoid any waiting at the security checkpoint.
Sales agents in this area are available to answer any questions concerning their trip (change of flight, ticket issue, etc.). Some of these customers also benefit from a personalized welcome on their arrival in Nice, if the Cannes Festival authorities request this.
«This service, initiated by the station personnel, provides greater fluidity and very high quality service for around 100 VIP passengers a day.
The initial feedback from these customers is unanimously positive» declared Pierre Plissonnier, Vice President of the Air France hub in Orly.
