Frontier Airlines Lands in Fargo Fargo fifth of seven new regional destinations for Frontier

DENVER, May 12 Frontier Airlines touched down in Fargo, North Dakota on Monday, May 12, 2008, launching new high-quality, low-cost air travel in the state.

Fargo is the fifth of seven new regional markets Frontier announced in February, all of which are shorter-haul markets, better suited to leveraging the economics of the 74-seat Bombardier Q400.

A fleet of ten Q400 aircraft are operated for Frontier by Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc. subsidiary Lynx Aviation.

"We are looking forward to bringing Frontier's high-quality, low-cost airfare back to the Fargo market," said Frontier President and CEO Sean Menke.

"Fargo was one of Frontier's founding markets when service launched in 1994. Just as the Fargo community has grown over the last 14 years, so has this airline. Now the people of Fargo can connect to more than 60 Frontier destinations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica from our Denver hub."

"Greater Fargo Moorhead is excited to welcome Frontier Airlines back to our community," said Brian Walters, President of the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation.

"Air service is a major component of our community's strategies for future growth, and it is a major factor in the attraction of new businesses and the retention and expansion of existing businesses. The re-introduction of Frontier into our market provides the traveling public, business and leisure traveler alike, with additional air service opportunities and increased competition. In the airline industry, competition for travelers tends to drive down fares.

As a low-cost carrier, Frontier has the potential to break up the fare structure for our region considerably."

Following is the Fargo flight schedule: Fargo-Denver Flight Number Departs Arrives Frequency 3377 2:00 p.m. 3:15 p.m. Daily 3375 7:45 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Daily Denver-Fargo Flight Number Departs Arrives Frequency 3376 10:20 a.m. 1:30 p.m. Daily 3374 4:05 p.m. 7:15 p.m.

Daily In addition to the new service to Fargo, Frontier also announced new non- stops to two other Rocky Mountain and regional destinations from Denver including:

-- Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), Jackson, Wyo. starting May 15, 2008 -- Gallatin Field Airport (BZN), Bozeman, Mont. starting May 22, 2008 Lynx Aviation's new fleet of Q400 aircraft is also serving four new Colorado markets with daily nonstop service from Denver:

-- Colorado Springs Airport (COS), Colorado Springs, Colo.

-- Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), Aspen, Colo. -- La Plata Airport (DRO), Durango, Colo.

-- Walker Field Airport (GJT), Grand Junction, Colo. The quiet, fuel-efficient and technologically-advanced Q400 aircraft are ideal for flying into smaller markets, and allow Frontier to bring its industry-leading customer service to underserved markets unreachable with its larger aircraft. Frontier's new service is expected to reduce the average fare in many of the new markets by as much as 50%.
