Frontier Airlines' EarlyReturns® Frequent Flyer Program Receives Top Honor at InsideFlyer Magazine's Freddie Awards EarlyReturns Takes Home the Event's Top Prize as 'Program of the Year,' Also Wins 'Best Award' Recognition and Places in Six Additional Freddie Categories DENVER, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ The votes are in and Frontier Airlines' (NASDAQ: FRNT) EarlyReturns frequent flyer program was named U.S. "Program of the Year" by voters in InsideFlyer magazine's 19th annual Freddie Awards. This year was Frontier's best showing at the Freddie Awards and its first recognition with the top honor. EarlyReturns also was recognized as the Freddies' "Best Award" winner, and placed in six other award categories. EarlyReturns was the top vote getter in the "Best Award" as a result of their industry-leading 15,000 mile redemption level, as well as their innovative "Redemption Deals" which offers last-minute redemption deals as low as 7,500 miles to select destinations. Frontier's recognition in other categories included second place in "Best Member Communication" and "Best Customer Service"; third place for "Best Website" and "Best Award Redemption"; fourth place for "Best Elite Level"; fifth place for "Best Bonus Promotion"; and sixth place for "Best Affinity Card," although it was first among all airlines. "We're thrilled to receive recognition from InsideFlyer for Early Returns, and even more pleased to know that so many U.S. frequent flyers rate our program so highly," said Jeff Potter, president and CEO of Frontier Airlines. "This recognition certainly wouldn't be possible without the hard work of our employees to ensure the best possible experience onboard our flights and in every interaction customers have with us. Our goal is to use this momentum to place among the top carriers in all categories in the coming years." "First and foremost, a big 'thanks' goes to all our members who voted us #1 this year," said Mark Dority, one of the EarlyReturns team representatives at the Freddies ceremony in Washington, D.C. "While EarlyReturns has been a top program since its launch six years ago, we have also been diligent about listening to the needs of our loyal membership, and in response to that feedback we made a lot of improvements this year. It is gratifying to know that we made the right moves to garner such a great honor and we look forward to continually improving the program to serve our members even better in the future." The Freddie recipients are determined by members of frequent travel programs throughout the U.S. and around the world. Members of the programs vote online for their favorites in nine categories. Nearly 450,000 total votes were tabulated through a Value Vote system to rank the "best" in each category. In order for any program to receive a Freddie Award, a program must garner at least one percent of the total votes within a particular category. The "Program of the Year" category must receive the highest percentage of votes in order to receive recognition. Frontier received a value of 9.074 on a scale of one to ten and 4.51% of the 322,928 votes. About Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc.
